On the footsteps of Saint Paul
Suggested pilgrimage for 3 full days on a Full Board basis at our ‘Rivotorto’ Guest House in Birkirkara.
Day 1
- (am) Valletta: St John Co-Cathedral/Caravaggio Museum, Upper Barrakka Garden, the Church of the Shipwreck of St Paul, Greek Catholic Church of Our Lady of Damascus.
- Lunch @ Rivotorto
- (pm) Rabat: Church of St Paul, The Grotto, Wignacourt Museum, The Catacombs of St Paul & St Agatha.
- Dinner @ Rivotorto
Day 2
- (am) Mdina: The Silent City, St Paul’s Cathedral, Carmelite Priory and Church, Villa Romana & Train trip of Rabat.
- Lunch @ Rivotorto
- (pm) The Church of St Paul, San Pawl tat-Targa, Naxxar (preaching place). The Church of St Paul Milqi, Burmarrad (the summer residence of Publius). St Paul’s Bay: The Church of San Pawl tal-Huggiega, Wignacourt Tower, the location of the Shipwreck & boat trip to the Islands of St Paul (Selmunette).
- Dinner @ Rivotorto
Day 3
- (day trip) Mellieha: The Sanctuary of the Virgin Mary & Grotto. Gozo: The Cittadella, Ta’ Pinu Marian Sanctuary, Lunch @ Xlendi, Dwejra, Church of St Paul’s Shipwreck, Marsalforn or Munxar.
- Dinner @ Rivotorto
- Included in this package a FREE entrance ticket to THE SHIPWRECK show.
- Extra time for shopping or relaxing time will be programmed as requested.
- If half board is requested more time will be available for other visits, shopping or free time.
- After dinner excursions can be organised if requested.
- Holy Mass can be organized and celebrated in some of the above locations or at our chapel of St Claire.
- Other suggested locations: Sliema & St. Julians, Mosta, The Three Cities (Vittoriosa/Birgu, Cospicua/Bormla & Senglea/Isla), Prehistoric Temples of Tarxien, Hagar Qim & Mnajdra, Marsaxlokk (fishers’ village), Zurrieq Blue Grotto, Ta’ Qali crafts village, Comino & The Blue Lagoon.
